Job summary

Shaftesbury North East – Heaton and Walker, Newcastle, is seeking a Bank Enabling Support Worker to assist people with complex needs in a supported living environment. Please note this vacancy is female only and a full UK driving license is required.

You will deliver person-centred support, record accurately, and may administer personal care and medication. Sleep-in shifts may be required and paid at £60 per sleep-in.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs in a supported living environment.
• NVQ/QCF Level 2 or a willingness to work towards the qualification while employed.
• Person-centred approach with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding support.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement, following the person-centred support plan.
• Maintain accurate records of care and daily activities as required by the service.
• May administer personal care and medication in line with care plans.
• Sleep-in shifts may be required and paid at £60 per sleep-in.
