Job summary

Shaftesbury North East is seeking an Enabling Support Worker in Newcastle to assist people with complex needs in a supported living environment. The role covers 40 hours per week at £13.45 per hour, with occasional sleep-in duties as part of the shift pattern.

Applicants should have at least 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern, plus NVQ/QCF level 2 or a willingness to work toward it.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs.
• NVQ/QCF level 2 or willingness to work towards.
• Person-centred approach and genuine passion for supported living.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and encouragement per the person-centred plan.
• Maintain accurate records in line with service requirements.
• Administer personal care and medication as required.
• Sleep-in duties may occur with £60 add-on.
