Shaftesbury North East - Heaton and Walker is looking for dedicated Enabling Support Workers to join our Complex Care Service. If you have a sense of fun and a passion for helping people with complex needs to live fulfilling, independent lives, we want to hear from you.

A full UK license is required and only Female applicants will be considered. Sleep-in sessions may be required, with an additional £60 per sleep-in. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits to our team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 12 months' experience supporting people with complex needs, learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern within a supported living environment.
• NVQ/QCF level 2 or a desire to work towards the qualification while working
• A person-centred approach and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding support.

Responsibilities

• As a Enabling Support Worker it will be your role to provide support and encouragement, by taking direction from both the person supported and the person centred support plan.
• You will be required to maintain accurate records while at work, in line with the service requirements. You may also be required to administer personal care and medication.
• There may be a requirement to cover sleep in sessions. You will be paid an additional £60 per sleep in.
