Job summary

Kent County Council is seeking an Enablement Support Worker to help people in West Kent become more independent through structured enablement services. You will work with a multidisciplinary team and support individuals in daily living tasks while traveling across Maidstone and surrounding areas.

The role requires empathy, strong communication, and a proactive approach to development. A Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel are essential.

• Travel across West Kent Maidstone, Malling and surrounding areas to deliver services.

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the KEaH Team - this is covering West Kent : Maidstone, Malling and surrounding areas.

Enablement is all about taking an individual on a journey to independence or reducing the long-term care needs. This would be though planned support with aspects of daily living including personal care, whilst working for and alongside a structured team to include the Enablement Locality Organiser, Enablement Supervisors, Social Workers, Occupational Therapist and various multi agency partners in KCC and health.

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone who has:
