Kent County Council is seeking a proactive Business Support Assistant for the Maidstone area. You will welcome families at our Family Hubs, signpost services, and support Hub Workers with admin tasks, data entry, and room bookings.
The role involves safeguarding, data protection, and customer service, with daily use of Microsoft Office and Core+ systems. A Level 2 qualification or equivalent experience is required.

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and people-focused Business Support Assistant to join our Maidstone team.
This is a front-facing role where you’ll be the welcoming face of our hubs—greeting families, signposting services, and supporting our Family Hub Workers. You’ll also play a vital role behind the scenes, keeping things running smoothly with your admin skills, organisational flair, and calm, can-do attitude.
We’re looking for someone who is:
You’ll need a Level 2 qualification or equivalent practical experience, and a willingness to learn and grow in the Family Hubs environment.
