Job Description: Sales Manager

Through your passion and motivation, you sell memorable experiences to guests staying at your property. You are professional, knowledgeable about your property, and you build strong relationships and bonds with your guests.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of industry/travel trends to develop and monitor the hotel’s commercial strategy with the GM
  • Ability to make commercial decisions to maximize MICE & Rooms income daily
  • Experience in top-line forecasting and revenue management
  • Great attention to detail and organizational skills to meet deadlines for Groups, MICE, & Corporate RFP requests
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to develop relationships with local clients, direct bookers, and agency bookers, ensuring a strong base of new and repeat business
  • Strong knowledge in quoting, converting, and managing large group bookings
  • Experience in a large events-driven environment is preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

Additional Information:

  • Manage daily operations of the Reservations and Sales teams, ensuring compliance with schedules
  • Ensure content and social media KPIs are met
  • Analyze ecommerce campaigns and promotions to align investment levels with expected ROIs
  • Generate new business through marketing initiatives
  • Conduct local research for potential new business
  • Maintain records and follow up with GM, RSM, and the Accor MICE sales team
  • Manage business bookings and relationships with key entertainment clients and sports/football team travel managers
  • Ensure contracts, pro-forma, and credit checks are issued and followed up on
  • Represent the hotel in local stakeholder meetings and Accor sales events
