Job summary

Seetec Group in Birmingham is recruiting an Employment Adviser to guide participants toward sustainable employment. You will manage a caseload, coach and mentor, and build strong relationships with customers, employers and partners.

The role emphasizes motivational support, goal setting, and practical job-search assistance with a customer-first approach. Key duties include achieving KPIs, conducting assessments, signposting to self-employment options, and developing tailored action plans.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the local labour market in the specified locations.
• Basic knowledge of self-employment.
• Fully IT literate using MS Office and related tools.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed personal performance targets (KPIs).
• Progressively manage a caseload of referred customers and help them overcome barriers to employment.
• Deliver a positive experience to new customers and ensure engagement with the programme.
• Achieve the Customer Service Standards required on the programme.
• Facilitate assessments to understand a customer’s circumstances, ambitions and goals.
• Provide guidance on self-employment and signpost to specialists.
• Co-produce tailored Action Plans with SMART targets.
• Provide tailored job-search and interview preparation support.
