Job summary

Eden Futures in Heywood is recruiting Support Workers to join our team across our supported living services, supporting individuals in their own homes and in the community. You’ll help people live as independently as possible with person-centred care.

We value learning and development, offering the Care Certificate and apprenticeships, with recognition via awards. Roles are paid at £13.45 per hour based on a 42-hour week, with an illustrative annual salary shown for reference.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes and assessed needs.
• Help promote safety and safeguard welfare, protecting users from abuse.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, manage finances and medication as needed.
• Assist with practical tasks at home and personal care.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record issues related to care and wellbeing.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and welfare of others.
• Bring compassion and a positive attitude to support independence.
