Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead an active life according to their wishes and plans.
• Help keep individuals safe and safeguard their welfare.
• Provide emotional support with a person-centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, finances, medications, basic tasks around the home, and personal care.
• Be an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record health and wellbeing issues.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote welfare of others.
• Show care and compassion to help service users live as independently as possible.
• Collaborate with colleagues and use initiative to support the team.
