Job summary

Kisimul Group is recruiting Residential Support Worker to support young adults with complex needs in learning disabilities. The role focuses on safeguarding, engaging in activities and enabling independence within home and community settings.

You will assist with daily tasks, build positive relationships, and ensure dignity and respect for the young adults, while keeping clear records and reporting any changes in needs.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard young adults at all times with staff team involvement.
• Participate in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events in home and community.
• Assist with practical tasks related to care, such as cooking and cleaning.
• Create positive relationships, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
• Meet the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
• Maintain accurate and clear record keeping.
• Review changes to needs and ensure they are reflected in care planning.
• Contribute to the development of the care team.
