Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker at our Barry service to assist male adults with mental health needs. You will support daily living, promote independence, and help with health care, personal care, and everyday tasks in a compassionate, structured setting.

No prior care experience is required as comprehensive training, coaching and development is offered to help you grow within the role.

Qualifications

• Experience within the care sector is not required as training is provided.
• Ability to support adults with complex needs with independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine for the people we support.
• Promoting independence and helping residents lead a fulfilling life.
• Encouraging development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Assisting with health care needs, including accompanying to appointments or medications.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required and with domestic tasks such as cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and emotional support.
