Keys Group is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist adults with mental health needs, autism and learning disabilities in Merthyr Tydfil. You will help with daily living, healthcare needs, and personal care while supporting independence and engagement in meaningful activities.

Qualifications

• Provide day-to-day support and promote independence for people in care.
• Assist with health care needs and accompanying appointments.
• Support personal skills development through activities and hobbies.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routines for the people we support.
• Prompt independence while helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Support and encourage development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintain health care needs, accompany routine appointments or assist with medication administration.
• Teach life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assist with personal care as required.
• Assist with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
