Job summary

Keys Group in Hereford is hiring a Support Worker to assist adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities and autism in a residential setting. The service supports up to 10 adults and aims to promote independence through personalised routines.

You will work shifts on site in Hereford, with Enhanced DBS paid by Keys Group and a focus on safety, wellbeing and community involvement.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• Enhanced DBS paid by Keys Group.
• Full induction and QCF qualifications offered.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day support and routine of the people we support.
• Promoting independence whilst helping them live a fulfilling life.
• Supporting and encouraging development of personal skills through hobbies and interests.
• Maintaining health care needs, including accompanying to routine appointments or administering medication.
• Teaching life skills such as budgeting, paying bills and shopping.
• Assisting with personal care as required.
• Assisting with domestic tasks including cleaning and cooking.
• Providing guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
