Job summary

eNL is seeking an Employment Solicitor for a Devon-based, hybrid role. The successful candidate will handle a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters for a varied client base, from SMEs to national businesses. The role requires 2–4 years’ PQE and a strong, commercially focused approach.

Qualifications

Employment Solicitor – Devon, Hybrid Working

This is a full-time, permanent role for an Employment Solicitor with 2–4 years’ PQE, based in Devon. You will join a well‑established firm’s Employment team, advising a varied client base from SMEs to national businesses. The position involves managing a mixed caseload of contentious and non‑contentious matters, delivering commercially focused legal solutions.

• Manage a varied caseload including day-to-day HR and employment advice, drafting employment contracts, policies and procedures, disciplinary and grievance matters, redundancies, TUPE transfers, restructures, settlement agreements and Employment Tribunal claims.
• Advising clients on a broad spectrum of contentious and non-contentious Employment Law matters, providing commercially focused and practical legal solutions.
• Strong technical knowledge, case management ability, and client-centred approach.
• Ability to develop expertise within a supportive team.

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2–4 years’ PQE and experience advising employers on Employment Law matters.
