Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment is seeking an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years PQE in Essex to take ownership of a varied caseload and develop a long-term career in a supportive team.

You will advise business and individual clients across contentious and non-contentious matters, including workplace disputes, settlements and restructures, with opportunities to manage your own files and progress with guidance.

Qualifications

Employment Solicitor, 2+ Years PQE, Essex, £40,000+ (DOE) - Are you an Employment Solicitor looking to broaden your experience, take ownership of your own matters and build a successful long-term career within a supportive team? JOB REF:5732

THE ROLE

• This is an excellent opportunity to develop your expertise across a diverse range of employment law matters
• With an expanding practice and strong connections across the firm, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful client relationships, gain exposure to a varied caseload and make a real contribution to the team’s continued growth.
• You will advise a broad mix of business and individual clients, helping them navigate employment issues with practical, commercially aware and clear legal advice.
• Your work will span both contentious and non-contentious employment matters, including workplace disputes, unfair dismissal, discrimination and harassment, Employment Tribunal claims and associated proceedings, settlement agreements, disciplinary processes, grievances and workplace procedures and redundancies, restructures and organisational change.
• You will have the opportunity to manage your own files, develop your technical skills and work collaboratively with colleagues across the firm, with appropriate guidance available as you grow in confidence and experience.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Applications are sought from Employment Solicitors with a minimum of 2 Years PQE.
• A sound understanding of employment legislation and its practical application.
• Strong legal drafting, research and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and the ability to balance competing deadlines.
• A clear, confident communication style and a commitment to excellent client service.
