Job summary

Sellick Partnership (Legal) Limited is seeking an experienced Employment Partner in Reading on a permanent basis, with hybrid working options and consideration for full or part-time hours. The role focuses on all aspects of predominantly employer-led employment law, including contracts, settlements, and HR issues.

The ideal candidate will be an established solicitor with 8+ PQE in employment law, strong communication skills, and a desire to grow the team while developing business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor with Employment Law experience (ideally 8 years PQE+)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work unsupervised when necessary
• Interest in networking and business development
• Management and supervisory skills

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and drafting employment contracts, policies, procedures and staff handbooks
• Advising on settlement discussions and COT3 agreements
• Handling HR/employment law issues such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, discrimination and whistleblowing
• Managing redundancy, restructure and TUPE matters

Job description

A highly reputable regional practice in Reading are currently seeking an Employment Partner to join their busy team on a permanent basis. Hybrid working is on offer. They can consider full or part time.

Your New Role

The successful Employment Solicitor will provide a high quality legal service on all aspects of predominantly employer led employment law including;

• Reviewing and drafting employment contract, policies, procedures and staff handbooks
• Advising on and drafting settlement discussions and COT3 agreements
• General HR/employment law issues such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, discrimination and whistleblowing
• Redundancy, restructure and TUPE matters

My client would like someone who is ambitious and wants to help grow the team further. Someone who enjoys business development would also be great.

About You
