Are you a driven employment law specialist looking to make a difference in the public sector? Venn Group is working with a positive and welcoming legal team in a London Borough in their pursuit of an Employment Lawyer on a locum basis for an initial 3-month period.

Requirements:

• Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
• Specialism within Employment Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
• Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Advising on all matters of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
• Advising on areas of employment law such as TUPE and equal pay
• Some experience of education law is advantageous
• Attending and preparing for employment tribunals as necessary
• Representing the Borough and external clients
• Deputise for senior members of the legal team
