Job summary

The role also focuses on improving attendance and sickness absence metrics, supporting managers with absence handling. You will lead investigations, maintain thorough documentation, and report on trends for senior management.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with unions and management.
• Experience delivering employee relations in a unionised manufacturing setting.
• Solid knowledge of UK labour laws and union agreements.
• Ability to lead investigations and provide fair resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Liaise with union representatives to address employee relation concerns.
• Ensure policies comply with UK labour laws and union agreements.
• Conduct training for managers and staff on labour relations and policies.
• Lead investigations into complaints and workplace incidents with thorough documentation.
• Prepare reports on activities, trends and outcomes for senior management.
