Manpower (United Kingdom) is partnering with a globally recognised manufacturing business to recruit an experienced HR Generalist to support site-based HR operations at our Carlisle site. The role is hands-on, covering employee relations, absence management and disciplinary processes, with responsibility for day-to-day HR advice and confidential records.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an HR Generalist in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Experience handling employee relations within a unionised manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of absence management, investigations and disciplinary procedures.
• Ability to provide practical HR guidance to managers and employees while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert HR advice to managers and employees on employee relations matters.
• Support absence management processes and advise on ongoing cases.
• Facilitate disciplinary investigations, prepare correspondence and minutes.
• Oversee day-to-day HR queries and maintain accurate employee records.
• Collaborate with unions and employee representatives to uphold relations and compliance.
• Support HR documentation updates and data reporting.
