Job summary

Michael Page HR in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert guidance across employee relations, absence management, and performance matters. You will partner with HR Business Partners to support managers, build stakeholder relationships, and drive organisational initiatives.

The role involves two onsite days in Wolverhampton (Thursday mandatory) and a broad workload including recruitment support and employment law compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR advice to managers.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Employee Relations case management experience.
• Experience supporting disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence processes.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to manage a varied workload.
• CIPD qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Providing first-line HR advice to managers and employees.
• Managing and supporting employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, and absence matters.
• Coaching managers on HR policies, procedures, and employment law.
• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, right-to-work checks, and UKVI processes.
• Working collaboratively with Trade Union representatives.
• Producing HR reports and management information.
• Supporting organisational change and people-focused projects.
