Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert guidance to managers and staff on a broad range of people matters, including employee relations, absence management, and employment law. This role partners with HR Business Partners to deliver high-quality service and drive change within a unionised environment.

The position requires two days on-site in Wolverhampton, with the remainder of time spent collaborating with HR colleagues to support organisational initiatives and

Qualifications

• Experience providing HR advice to managers.
• Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience handling employee relations, disciplinary, grievance, and absence matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line HR advice to managers and staff.
• Manage and support employee relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence).
• Coach managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, right-to-work checks and UKVI processes.
• Collaborate with Trade Union representatives.
• Produce HR reports and management information.
