Job summary

Curo Group is seeking an HR Advisor (Employee Relations) in Bath to manage a caseload of employee relations matters and provide practical guidance to managers and colleagues. The role sits in the HR and Organisation Development shared service, partnering with HR Business Partners on complex cases.

You’ll handle absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases, while shaping policy and tools. The position is 37 hours per week, permanent, with hybrid working and a salary of £38,110 plus

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, or substantial practical HR advisory experience.
• Experience advising and coaching managers through employee relations cases.
• Solid understanding of UK employment law with ability to seek further advice when needed.
• Experience improving HR workflows, processes or toolkits.
• Experience using HR systems to manage colleague records, cases or workflows.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of employee relations cases, including absence, probation, performance, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Advise and coach managers to handle everyday people matters with guidance and self-service tools.
• Escalate cases involving senior managers or potential legal risk to HR Business Partners
• Maintain accurate case records and use trends to improve HR processes.
• Support the development and maintenance of HR policies and toolkits.
