Job summary

Anderson Knight is partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit an HR Adviser for their Glasgow operation. This generalist role offers a broad remit across employee relations, development and people projects, with two sites in Glasgow and Inverclyde and scope to influence the people agenda.

You’ll partner with managers, shape the People Plan, and contribute to employee experience, engagement and business performance.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR Adviser with broad remit across employee relations, engagement and development.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and best practices for operational settings.
• Ability to coach managers and translate policy into practical guidance.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Experience using HRIS/HR analytics to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert HR advice to managers across a range of people matters.
• Coach managers on HR policies, procedures and employment law.
• Support employee relations cases including investigations and disciplinaries.
• Manage absence cases with consistent, supportive approaches.
• Collaborate with Occupational Health and leadership to drive wellbeing initiatives.
• Contribute to local people plans and employee engagement activities.
• Assist with policy development and implementation.
• Support management development and capability-building initiatives.
