As part of The Fedcap Group, a pioneering US charity formed in 1935 our values of Kindness, Respect, Integrity, and Innovation are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role: Employability / Trainer

Are you passionate about helping people reach their potential? As an Employability Tutor/Trainer, you'll deliver high-impact, engaging training to support individuals in developing the skills they need to secure meaningful employment. This includes both group workshops and 1:1 sessions, covering everything from CV writing and digital skills to interview preparation and career planning.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver engaging, learner-centred training that reflects the principles of adult education, including respect for learners’ experiences, self-direction, and practical application.
  • Use a variety of inclusive teaching methods (e.g., experiential learning, peer learning, flipped classroom) to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.
  • Continuously assess learner progress and adapt delivery to ensure accessible, differentiated learning for adults with varying levels of confidence, literacy, and digital skills.
  • Create a supportive and empowering learning environment that builds adult learners’ confidence, resilience, and motivation.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to deliver innovative training solutions, helping the achievement of team performance targets and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience delivering training to adult learners, ideally in employability, skills development, or community learning settings.
  • A recognised training or teaching qualification is desirable (e.g., PTLLS, Celta, ESOL or Level 3 Award in Education and Training) but not essential
  • Ability to apply adult learning theory (e.g., Andragogy, Transformative Learning) in practical training delivery.
  • Experience with digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches is a plus.
