Job summary

Fedcap in Staines-upon-Thames is recruiting for a role delivering tailored, one-to-one support to help long-term unemployed individuals re-enter the workplace. You will manage a caseload, run face-to-face sessions, and build SMART action plans to guide job-search efforts.

Salary: £28,438, rising to £30,253 following successful completion of training and demonstration of competence in the role.

Location: Onsite in Staines (TW18 4EP)

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm

In this role, you'll wear many hats-supporting, encouraging, signposting, advising, coaching, and inspiring individuals-while building trust and challenging mindsets.

What You'll Do:

• Work towards clear targets and KPIs (including quality & compliance SLAs) - with plenty of support along the way
• Manage a caseload of customers, with face-to-face appointments throughout the day, creating SMART action plans and providing job-searching support

• Collaborate with external services to tackle complex challenges and help overcome barriers

What You’ll Bring:

• A background in target-driven roles and/or experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
• Ability to build rapport, understand, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who are vulnerable with complex needs.
• Experience of working in customer-facing roles in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate customer records.
• Resilience and a growth mindset, and a real passion for making a difference.
