Job summary

Fedcap UK is recruiting for a role within the DWP Restart Scheme to help long-term unemployed individuals back into work. You will deliver tailored, one-to-one support, build confidence, develop skills and guide customers through job-searching activities. This is an on-site role in Guildford with a clear focus on outcomes and impact.

The position emphasizes adaptability, resilience and the ability to work with diverse, sometimes vulnerable clients while meeting contractual and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Background in target-driven roles and/or experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
• Ability to build rapport and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those with complex needs.
• Experience in fast-paced customer-facing environments with strong record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Work towards clear targets and KPIs with support and guidance.
• Manage a caseload of customers with face-to-face appointments and create SMART action plans.
• Provide job-searching support, signposting, coaching and follow-up progress.
• Collaborate with external services to address barriers and challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Work towards clear targets and KPIs (including quality & compliance SLAs) – with plenty of support along the way
• Manage a caseload of customers, with face-to-face appointments throughout the day, creating SMART action plans and providing job-searching support
• Help build confidence, develop skills and change mindsets
• Collaborate with external services to tackle complex challenges and help overcome barriers

What You’ll Bring

• A background in target-driven roles and/or experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards
• Ability to build rapport, understand, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who are vulnerable with complex needs.
• Experience of working in customer-facing roles in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate customer records.
