Job summary

Fedcap UK is hiring an Employment Advisor in Guildford to support long-term unemployed individuals back into work under the DWP Restart Scheme. Salary ranges £28,438 rising to £30,253 after training, and the role is onsite, Monday–Friday 9am–5pm.

You will manage a caseload, provide job-search support, build confidence, collaborate with external services, and help clients overcome barriers. The ideal candidate is target-driven, empathetic, and experienced in customer-facing roles.

Qualifications

• Background in target-driven roles and/or experience delivering services to meet contractual and quality standards.
• Ability to build rapport, understand, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds, including those who are vulnerable with complex needs.
• Experience of working in customer-facing roles in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and maintain accurate customer records.
• Resilience and a growth mindset, and a real passion for making a difference.
