Job summary

Hereford Hospital, part of Nuffield Health, is seeking a Bookings Administrator on a permanent, part-time basis. The role covers managing a high volume of email requests from referrals to appointments, ensuring service standards are met while delivering excellent customer care. The position is 30 hours per week, 10:00–18:00, with pro rata salary.

NVQ level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent is preferred, along with customer-facing experience to help us build a healthier nation.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 2 in Business & Administration or equivalent.
• Experience in a customer-facing environment.
• Ability to manage a high volume of email requests and appointments.
• Coordination of rooms and clinic availability.

Responsibilities

• Handle appointment bookings and changes.
• Prepare standard and adhoc reports for the department.
• Coordinate room and consultant availability.
• Create, alter or cancel clinics as required to support business needs.
