Job summary

Central England Co-operative Limited is seeking a compassionate Funeral Advisor to support families through the funeral arrangement process with empathy and professionalism. You’ll oversee the day-to-day running of our funeral homes, ensuring high standards and strong relationships with clients.

As a cooperative member, you’ll be flexible, cover other funeral homes as needed, and arrange funerals at clients’ premises.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of our funeral homes, supporting families and maintaining high standards.
• Help families personalise funerals by listening to wishes and offering service options.
• Arrange funerals with attention to cost transparency and clear communication between families and Funeral Directors.
• Handle administration duties with sensitivity and accuracy, and keep premises clean and secure.
• Build relationships with hospitals, clergy and local communities to promote services.
• Travel to cover other funeral homes as required and act as a cooperative member.
