Job summary

People Solutions are recruiting a Customer Service & Collections Advisor for their Tamworth client. The role is full-time and permanent, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (plus 60-minute slot once weekly), with an uncapped bonus and realistic OTE of £35,000+. You will work with customers in arrears to resolve balances and offer suitable payment solutions.

Not a sales role or credit control; focus is on empathetic, professional support and problem solving to achieve positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or collections roles is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive conversations empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound in‑arrears calls to collect on invoices.
• Aim to resolve balances during the first contact where possible.
• Take payments securely over the phone.
• Provide excellent service while explaining payment options clearly.
• Maintain professional and empathetic communication throughout interactions.
