You will work as part of the Collections team to deliver first-class outcomes while prioritising your workload and maintaining compliance.

The role involves making daily contact with customers, offering forbearance options, and collaborating with other departments to resolve accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with customers over the phone.
• Empathetic with strong communication skills.
• Experience in consumer credit environment is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Manage a daily queue of allocated accounts.
• Contact customers in arrears by phone, email, text and letter to obtain payments or set up repayment plans.
• Offer forbearance options where repayment plans are not suitable.
• Respond to customer letters, texts and emails.
• Liaise with debt management agencies where appropriate.
• Take manual payments over the telephone.
• Answer inbound calls regarding customer agreements.
• Coordinate with other departments to manage situations.
• Review customer credit file information.
• Support ad hoc duties as required.
