Job summary

NG Bailey MEH Alliance is seeking an Emergency Preparedness Advisor for the Hinkley Point C Bridgwater site. This full-time, permanent role supports Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness capabilities for MEHA works on the construction project.

Based at Bridgwater, the role involves monitoring EP requirements, producing rescue plans, and delivering safety briefings. The position offers a competitive salary, car/car allowance, and flexible benefits with potential working away from home.

Qualifications

• Experience in Emergency Preparedness/Response.
• Developed EP plans, policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of confined space regulations.
• Excellent written and spoken communication to explain EP/Fire procedures.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain EP requirements on MEHA Platforms and Work Areas.
• Produce and maintain Rescue plans.
• Assist in Fire Drills and alarm tests.
• Deliver toolbox talks and record attendance.
• Mentor supervisors in EP matters.
• Inspect platforms and work areas for EP compliance.
