Job summary

EDF Energy Limited is seeking a Fire Safety Advisor for the Hinkley Point C project. You will develop and maintain site fire safety processes, provide expert guidance to MEHA operations, contractors and stakeholders, and promote continuous improvement in fire safety culture.

Role requires NEBOSH Fire Safety or equivalent, and prior fire safety experience in construction or high-risk environments, with strong knowledge of legislation and auditing practices.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Fire Safety or equivalent certification.
• Experience in fire safety within construction or high-risk environments.
• Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation, risk assessment and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain understanding of site fire safety processes and procedures.
• Provide advice and support on all fire safety matters to MEHA teams and contractors.
• Ensure fire safety standards across construction areas are maintained.
• Conduct audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify improvements.
• Document findings and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
