Job summary

TrueCommerce is seeking an experienced leader to head IT Operations for the EMEA region. You will own infrastructure, networks, databases, site reliability, and escalated app support to ensure secure, high-performing technology for regional teams and customers.

You will translate global infrastructure strategy into regional delivery, balance data residency and GDPR needs, and drive automation at scale while partnering with finance and vendors. A hands-on, strategic leader is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or technology operations.
• 3+ years leading teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Proven experience managing regional or multi-site infrastructure operations across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.
• Hands-on experience in networking, cloud platforms (Azure preferred), virtualization, and storage.
• Strong ITIL-aligned service management (incident, problem, and change).
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring, automation, and orchestration tools.
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI-enabled tools and automation to improve operational scale and reliability.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity, backup & disaster recovery, and GDPR compliance.
• Prior budget management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, with cross-regional and global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA Regional Operations Hub as the regional pillar of the global hub-and-spoke model.
• Translate the global infra roadmap into regional execution, considering data residency and GDPR.
• Oversee infra operations, network and database operations for high availability and performance.
• Lead Level 2 application support and site reliability for the region.
• Own delivery of regional services: incident, problems, changes, service requests, monitoring, access control.
• Drive automation and AI to scale capacity and efficiency.
• Manage regional vendor relationships and SLAs.
• Report regional performance and risks to global leadership.
• Build and mentor a high-performing EMEA team and manage hiring/performance.
