Job summary

Teleport is seeking a seasoned Manager of Solutions Engineering for the EMEA region. You will lead a regional team of solutions engineers, align with sales, product, and security objectives, and drive technical wins across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

You will mentor engineers, shape pre‑sales strategy, and own career development plans while traveling to customer sites and engaging executives. The role blends leadership with hands‑on architecture and customer success.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of Solutions Engineers or equivalent
• Strong pre-sales and discovery skills with business impact focus
• Experience guiding customer outcomes across sales, onboarding, adoption and growth
• Solid knowledge of Linux networking and security principles
• Hands-on with cloud-native tech like Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure in enterprise deployments
• Familiarity with IAM concepts (SSO, OIDC, SAML, RBAC, mTLS, zero-trust)
• Troubleshooting distributed systems and server-side software
• English fluency; knowledge of another European language is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build and scale a regional SE team across EMEA.
• Coach on discovery, qualification, POC design, and executive communication.
• Drive customer outcomes from sale through post-sale adoption and growth.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales to win strategic opportunities.
• Travel to customer sites to demonstrate features and solutions.
