Job summary

Primer API Limited is seeking a technically-focused individual to own proactive technical ownership for merchant integrations. You will diagnose complex issues, design solutions with engineering partners, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.

The role is remote-first with global merchants, offering strong compensation, share options, and dedicated learning budgets to support growth and impact.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on technical ability with API logs and traces.
• Experience in a technical, merchant/customer-facing role in payments/fintech.
• Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, and SDKs; ability to explain flows.
• Proactive, risk-focused mindset with capability to identify issues early.
• Comfort presenting technical material to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Monitor integration health, performance, and routing configurations with merchants.
• Lead technical deep-dives and solution design during onboarding of new PSPs.
• Serve as escalated technical contact during incidents with merchants.
• Deliver RCAs and practical recommendations post-incident.
• Coordinate across engineering, product, and support teams to close gaps.
