Job summary

Vanta is seeking a Solutions Engineer to guide customers toward feasible, end-to-end security solutions. The role sits on the Sales team and focuses on aligning technical feasibility with business impact across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.

Based in London or Dublin with a hybrid schedule, you will deliver tailored demonstrations, validate integrations, and ensure a smooth handoff to post-sales. A strong SaaS and customer-facing background is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing, technical roles such as solutions engineer, sales engineer, or GRC consultant in a B2B SaaS context.
• Proven ability to drive technical qualification and align solutions with customer impact.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and operating systems, plus scripting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic sales partner, owning the technical relationship with prospects and customers.
• Conduct strategic discovery and deal qualification with Account Executives to uncover pain points and validate use cases.
• Secure the solution win by validating feasibility and aligning on success criteria and delivery path.
• Deliver tailored, narrative-driven demos showing how Vanta solves customer problems across SOC 2, ISO 27001, and HIPAA.
• Partner with AE to shape deals, surface risks, and propose clear steps for mutual success.
• Ensure smooth handoff to post-sales with a detailed design and risk summary.
• Provide market feedback to Product for functionality prioritization.
• Support customers through trials and foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
