Job summary

Avalara, Inc. is seeking a Director Inside Sales to join the Leadership team and accelerate growth in our EMEA business. You will oversee a frontline SDR group (Inbound/Outbound) and inspire talent with coaching and data-driven leadership.

You will partner with Pune and regional leaders to ensure best practices, leverage AI, and refine sales processes. This role requires a strategic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in sales, with leadership of teams.
• Experience in SaaS or technology sales is required.
• Experience enabling sales with AI and automation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the EMEA-based Sales Development team with dotted line to Pune.
• Drive demand gen plans and AI-enabled workflows for growth.
• Coach, track metrics and align training with revenue goals.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to optimize SOPs.
