Job summary

Avalara is seeking an analytics leader to head Data and Analytics for EMEA from Brighton. You will partner with GTM, Finance, and the global analytics team to drive sales efficiency, pipeline growth, and forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years in Sales Analytics, Data Science, or BI in SaaS with regional exposure.
• Experience applying AI/ML techniques or AI-enabled tools for forecasting.
• Strong proficiency with SQL, Python/R and BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Power BI).
• Familiarity with modern data stack and data warehouses.
• Excellent SaaS metrics knowledge and regional dynamics impact.

Responsibilities

• GTM Performance Insights, BI & Self-Service Analytics setup.
• Maintain KPI framework for EMEA sales with predictive metrics.
• Create leadership-ready analytics environments for funnel, pipeline, and bookings.
• Promote self-service analytics and data democratization for regional teams.
• Analyze quota attainment and productivity for resource optimization.
• Own regional forecasting analytics and model bookings/renewals.
• Improve forecasting precision via automation and regional signals.
• Support end-to-end funnel analytics from pipeline to retention.
• Measure pipeline health and leverage AI-driven scoring with the global team.
• Analyse regional deal dynamics and win/loss drivers for leadership.
