Job summary

Clear. is seeking a Global Account Manager for its data centre division in EMEA, based in London.

The role commands responsibility for four to five strategic accounts, driving demand creation 60% of the time and expanding from white space to gray-space infra across MV/LV power, cooling, BMS, security and logistics. A multi-year plan, cross-functional collaboration and strong English language skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in commercial or business development roles within data centre construction or mission-critical infrastructure.
• Proven record of creating demand and winning opportunities before tender.
• Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle from site and power strategy through design, procurement, construction, commissioning and handover.
• Experience managing complex multinational or EMEA-wide accounts and cross-border projects.
• Fluent business English; willingness to travel 25–50% across EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Own the EMEA account strategy for four to five strategic data centre developer accounts, building multiyear plans.
• Drive new business and demand creation (around 60% of the role), shaping opportunities before RFQs or tenders.
• Map each customer's development pipeline, design standards and procurement model, building stakeholder coverage across functions and countries.
• Engage early with design, engineering, construction, procurement and supply-chain teams to influence specifications.
• Expand from white space into gray-space infrastructure, including MV/LV power, busway, cabling, cooling, BMS and security.
• Bring in the right subject matter experts while keeping commercial ownership of the opportunity.
• Work with local country sales teams and US-based global account leaders to align global strategy with EMEA priorities.
• Convert pipeline into defined projects, backlog, revenue and gross margin, including through local entities or channel partners.
• Lead EMEA framework, supplier and services agreements, and roll out global agreements.
• Track and report on revenue, margin, pipeline, backlog and category penetration.
