Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a global technology business to appoint a Field Application Engineering Manager in the Crawley area. You will lead the EMEA engineering team, own technical customer success, and collaborate with sales to win high-value projects across Europe.

You will bring LCD/HMI expertise, embedded systems know-how, and strong leadership to drive engineering excellence while maintaining a customer-first approach in a hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Experience with LCD display technologies.
• Strong knowledge of HMI hardware and related technologies.
• Background in embedded systems using x86 and ARM architectures.
• Experience with Linux, Windows and/or Android environments.
• Customer-focused with excellent stakeholder management skills.
• Previous leadership or team management experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering support for EMEA customers across standard and custom projects.
• Provide pre-sales technical support, demonstrations and solution development.
• Drive customer retention and support product lifecycle management activities.
• Manage engineering projects, forecasting and technical documentation.
• Support the sales function to achieve a high RFQ win rate.
