Job summary

Free-Work UK in Crawley is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own EMEA customer success and to lead a growing technical team. The role offers a hybrid arrangement (3 days per week) and is focused on securing high-value business across Europe.

You will drive engineering excellence in LCD displays, HMI solutions, and embedded systems while coordinating with sales and internal stakeholders to deliver innovative technical solutions and maximise project success.

Qualifications

• Experience with LCD display technologies
• Strong knowledge of HMI hardware and related technologies
• Background in embedded systems using x86 and ARM architectures
• Experience with Linux, Windows and/or Android environments
• Customer-focused with excellent stakeholder management skills
• Previous leadership or team management experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering support for EMEA customers across standard and custom projects
• Provide pre-sales technical support, demonstrations and solution development
• Drive customer retention and support product lifecycle management activities
• Manage engineering projects, forecasting and technical documentation
• Support the sales function to achieve a high RFQ win rate
