Dematic, a global leader in intelligent automation, is seeking an experienced EMEA Events Manager to join our Marketing team on a permanent basis. Based within our EMEA organisation, this high-impact role reports to the Senior Manager of Field Marketing and is central to coordinating strategic, engaging, and flawless events across the region.

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your Role:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute EMEA and local events, trade shows, webinars, and customer engagements to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer experience.
  • Support local Field Marketing Managers with event logistics for some local events.
  • Lead event planning from concept to execution, including creating detailed project plans with milestones and stakeholder involvement. Support local FMMs with showcases at local fairs.
  • Develop and implement annual EMEA Event plans and campaigns aligned with business objectives, collaborating with the Global Events Manager, regional Commercial teams, and Field Marketing Managers to ensure consistency and strategic alignment.
  • Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts according to procurement policies.
  • Create and manage event budgets, monitor real-time expenses versus forecasts, and ensure cost-effective solutions.

Event Lifecycle Ownership:

  • Organise pre-event logistics, including shipping and assembly of mechanical showcases across Europe.
  • Oversee booth setup and breakdown, ensuring timely delivery of materials.
  • Prepare post-event reports, manage lead uploads, and compile insights for reporting and CRM updates.
  • Coordinate the execution of Tier 1 EMEA events such as PR conferences, product launches, customer evenings, and speaker sessions, with support from local teams.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Design, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience managing B2B events across international markets.
  • Knowledge of customs and import logistics for event materials.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and stakeholders under pressure.
  • Project management training or certification is a plus.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and strong visual branding skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and meticulousness.
  • Willingness and ability to travel approximately every two months within EMEA.
