Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Design Manager to join our EMEA Design and Construction team. You will lead end-to-end design delivery for data centre construction across Europe, including London, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Frankfurt, working with multidisciplinary experts and external consultants to meet high engineering standards and support our expanding digital footprint.

• Extensive experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety, and control systems.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary design teams and vendor relationships.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead external design consultants to deliver data centre facilities to global specs.
• Collaborate with construction, finance, sales, and operations on fit-outs and pursuits.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, and product delivery ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Identify design risks early to protect timelines and delivery standards.
