Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic Design Manager to lead end-to-end design delivery for mission-critical data centre projects across Europe, including London, Amsterdam, Madrid and Frankfurt. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary experts and external consultants to ensure infrastructure meets exact engineering standards and supports our expanding digital footprint.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life-safety and control systems.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary design teams and managing vendor/internal stakeholders.
• University degree in Architecture or Engineering, with global travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead external design consultants to deliver data centre facilities per global specs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to execute fit-out programs and pursue opportunities.
• Provide engineering oversight: budgets, schedules, and product delivery while maintaining quality and safety.
