Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking an strategic Design Manager to join our EMEA Design and Construction team. You’ll have the opportunity to lead the end-to-end design delivery for critical data centre construction projects across key European markets like London, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Frankfurt.

Working closely with multidisciplinary experts and external consultants, your work ensures our high-performance infrastructure meets exact engineering standards while directly supporting our expanding digital

Qualifications

• Experience delivering design for mission-critical facilities such as data centres.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, life safety and control systems.
• Experience directing multidisciplinary design teams and managing stakeholders.
• Degree in Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering with international travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead third-party design consultants to deliver data centre facilities meeting global specs.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with internal construction, finance, sales and operations.
• Provide engineering oversight of budget, schedule and product delivery for infrastructure projects.
• Identify engineering risks early to protect timelines and delivery standards.
