Job summary

Avalara is seeking a Cross-Border EMEA Product Solutions Consultant (PSC) to drive pre-sales activities across the region. You will lead technical scoping, deliver tailored product demonstrations, and collaborate with Sales, Partners, and Product teams to design optimal cross-border compliance solutions.

This is a high-visibility role supporting a global, AI-forward tax technology platform. You will engage with enterprise prospects, translate complex regulatory requirements into scalable

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a pre‑sales, solution consulting, or technical product role, preferably in cross-border trade, compliance automation, ecommerce, or adjacent solutions
• Experience with APIs, integration design, or solution architecture
• Experience with ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Adobe, BigCommerce, Woo) and cross-border or compliance integrations
• Experience with ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Workday, Microsoft Dynamics)
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and demo delivery skills with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders
• Previous experience supporting multinational enterprise sales cycles across EMEA

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery calls with enterprise prospects to assess compliance needs and cross-border complexity
• Deliver tailored product demonstrations aligned to prospect's technical landscape and business model
• Translate regulatory requirements into solution architectures leveraging Avalara's API and platform
• Support RFPs/RFIs, technical docs, and scoping across EMEA prospects
• Coordinate with Partners and internal teams to ensure implementation readiness
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cross-border regulations and product roadmaps
