Job summary

Western Union is seeking an experienced Director to lead Cross-Border Payments for the EMEA region. You will drive strategy for funds-out payments, oversee a regional product team, and advance digital remittance capabilities to fuel growth and market competitiveness.

You will shape initiatives with a focus on compliant, cost-effective customer experiences, align with global product goals, and build a best-in-class remittance platform to strengthen Western Union's leadership in global money

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of product management experience in financial services, preferably payments.
• 5+ years managing teams.
• Strong ability to leverage customer insights, market trends, and data.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and full end-to-end PDLC.
• Proven track record in market research and product innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of product managers across regional and remote locations.
• Prioritize work across run, grow, transform programs.
• Shape and evolve ways of working with agile practices.
• Own the product/platform roadmap and manage total cost of ownership.
• Prepare executive reporting around KPIs and OKRs.
• Demonstrate Western Union values and be a change agent.
