Job summary

R.M.Williams, an iconic Australian brand, is seeking a Commercial Operations Specialist to connect regional teams with the global business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Qualifications

• Experience in commercial operations, retail operations, wholesale operations or a related business function, ideally within a multi-market organisation.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience identifying operational challenges, analysing root causes and implementing practical solutions.
• Confidence working across both local and global teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical capability and experience using data to inform decisions.
• An understanding of retail and wholesale operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Willingness to travel within the region and occasionally to Australia as required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Commercial Operations Across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
• Support the delivery of trading plans and business priorities across retail and wholesale channels.
• Keep teams aligned to agreed operating rhythms, timelines and commercial objectives.
• Prepare and communicate operational updates, reporting and key business information.
• Build strong connections between local teams and the global business.
• Translate global priorities into practical requirements for regional teams.
• Ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be delivered, by when and to what standard.
• Support readiness for new product launches, campaigns and business initiatives.
• Help teams successfully execute key commercial activities and trading priorities.
• Investigate operational issues and identify root causes.
• Coordinate solutions across teams and functions.
• Escalate complex challenges where required, providing clear recommendations and business impacts.
• Drive improvements through to completion and ensure outcomes are sustained.
• Embed global standards, operating models and playbooks across the region.
• Adapt processes where genuinely required for local market needs while maintaining alignment to global standards.
• Capture and communicate market feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain clear and effective operational documentation and ways of working.
• Use data, reporting and insights to support decision-making and track progress.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled tools.
• Support the adoption of new technologies and smarter ways of working across the business.
