Position Summary

For more than 90 years, R.M.Williams has been crafting products with purpose, authenticity and enduring quality. What started in the Australian outback has become an iconic global brand, built on a commitment to excellence and a belief in doing things the right way.

As we continue to grow across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), we're looking for a Commercial Operations Specialist to help connect our regional teams with the wider global business and ensure commercial operations run smoothly, consistently and effectively.

Reporting to the Commercial Operations Lead, you'll play a critical role in coordinating commercial operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Acting as the bridge between local market needs and global priorities, you'll help turn strategy into action, support cross-functional execution and drive improvements that enhance commercial performance.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity, solving operational challenges and working collaboratively across multiple teams, functions and markets.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate Commercial Operations Across Europe, the Middle East and Africa
  • Act as a key point of contact for commercial operational processes, standards and requirements across the Europe, Middle East and Africa region.
  • Support the delivery of trading plans and business priorities across retail and wholesale channels.
  • Keep teams aligned to agreed operating rhythms, timelines and commercial objectives.
  • Prepare and communicate operational updates, reporting and key business information.
  • Build strong connections between local teams and the global business.
Turn Strategy into Action
  • Translate global priorities into practical requirements for regional teams.
  • Ensure stakeholders understand what needs to be delivered, by when and to what standard.
  • Support readiness for new product launches, campaigns and business initiatives.
  • Help teams successfully execute key commercial activities and trading priorities.
Solve Problems and Improve Processes
  • Investigate operational issues and identify root causes.
  • Coordinate solutions across teams and functions.
  • Escalate complex challenges where required, providing clear recommendations and business impacts.
  • Drive improvements through to completion and ensure outcomes are sustained.
Champion Best Practice
  • Embed global standards, operating models and playbooks across the region.
  • Adapt processes where genuinely required for local market needs while maintaining alignment to global standards.
  • Capture and communicate market feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain clear and effective operational documentation and ways of working.
Leverage Data and AI
  • Use data, reporting and insights to support decision-making and track progress.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and AI-enabled tools.
  • Support the adoption of new technologies and smarter ways of working across the business.
What we’re looking for
  • Experience in commercial operations, retail operations, wholesale operations or a related business function, ideally within a multi-market organisation.
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience identifying operational challenges, analysing root causes and implementing practical solutions.
  • Confidence working across both local and global teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical capability and experience using data to inform decisions.
  • An understanding of retail and wholesale operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
  • A willingness to travel within the region and occasionally to Australia as required.
  • Practical and solutions-focused.
  • Naturally curious and motivated to understand why things work the way they do.
  • Well organised, reliable and accountable.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across multiple teams and time zones.
  • Flexible and adaptable in a changing environment.
  • Respectful, authentic and focused on building strong relationships.
What we offer
  • Be part of an established and iconic Australian brand with long term career development opportunities growing internationally
  • Generous product allowance
  • 40% employee discount
  • Annual bonus scheme
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • Paid parental leave
